Full cost management

Knowing the true cost of providing solid waste services is the key to managing them effectively. GBB conducts full-cost management analyses, using the EPA's full-cost accounting framework adapted to each community's needs, to identify direct, indirect, and often-overlooked "hidden" costs and revenues across every service and business unit. This accurate cost data supports informed rate-setting, enterprise fund planning, GASB 34 asset management compliance, and reporting requirements, while strengthening overall financial management. GBB also offers workbooks and training courses that simplify cost allocation for internal teams.
