Privacy statement
Gershman, Brickner & Bratton, Inc. (GBB) respects your privacy. This statement explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information you give us. When you use the Get Started or Contact forms, subscribe to The GBB Circular, or apply for a position, you may provide your name, organization, email address, phone number, and the details of your inquiry. We use that information only to respond to you, to send the newsletter you asked for, or to consider your application. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit: pages viewed, the type of browser and device, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the site that referred you. This is collected through Squarespace, which hosts the site, and is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it working properly.
Cookies. This site uses a small number of cookies: strictly necessary cookies that make the site function, and analytics cookies that measure traffic. A banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some features.
Service providers. We rely on a few third parties to run this site, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy: Squarespace (hosting, forms, and analytics), Google reCAPTCHA (to keep automated spam out of our forms), Constant Contact (delivery of The GBB Circular), and Adobe Fonts (typefaces). These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Newsletter. Every issue of The GBB Circular includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you at the address below.
Links to other sites. This site links to conference organizers, publications, client agencies, and other outside sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Your choices. You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep. Contact us at hello@gbbinc.com.
Children. This site is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes. If this statement changes, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated statement.
Accessibility statement
GBB wants everyone who visits this site to be able to use it, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have done. The site is built to support keyboard navigation, screen readers, and browser zoom. Headings are structured in order, images carry descriptive alternative text, text and background colors are chosen for contrast, links are labeled by their purpose, and forms have visible labels. Documents in our archive are provided as PDFs; where a PDF is not fully accessible, we will provide the content in another format on request
Known limitations. Some older material moved here from our previous site, including scanned publications and presentation files, has not yet been fully remediated. We are working through it, and we prioritize any document a visitor asks about.
