The Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority selected GBB to help re-route the City of Baltimore’s residential trash collection system, which used 100 trucks to service 233,000 households.

• GBB teamed with C2Logix and used FleetRoute™ in a service bureau project.
• GBB refined on GIS maps the geocoding of the City’s customers (including those serviced in alleys).
• The GBB project team developed five alternative route scenarios that optimized the routes, workdays and equipment allocation, each with associated cost savings.
