Collection Routing
Commercial routing requires
stops at addresses that are dispersed across an area. FleetRoute
develops routes that provide the shortest travel path to customers
and to the disposal or distribution facility or depot. It
will also select the optimal facility or depot, if there are
multiple locations. FleetRoute provides priority routing for
time-sensitive servicing and profitability reporting to evaluate
customer pricing and operational effectiveness. Point-to-point
routing is used for:

Districting, Analytics,
and Area Routing
FleetRoute is also used for
establishing collection districts, evaluating facility site
locations, and conducting collection cost analyses and fee
assessments. Evaluate a bid for a new service area or identify
the optimal location for a facility. Area routes, which do
not define a travel path for the drivers, may be easily developed
when complete street or customer data are not available or
are cost-prohibitive to develop. |
